Lluis Carulla - Sea Urchin

Lluís Carulla is inspired by sea creatures and plants. He uses a technique developed with two-dimensional metal pieces, assembled in layers, which rotate around the same central axis, thanks to a precise system of bearings that is activated manually. These sculptures are designed to be played and interacted with; they invite you to experience their infinite movements. With the push of a hand, everything is activated, and the pieces come to life for 8 to 15 minutes.
