The watch news video from MB&F presents the M.A.D.1S and the Albatross made with L'Epée 1839. The Albatross is a mechanical clock, and it won the Mechanical Clock Prize at the GPHG in 2025. MB&F, short for Maximilian Büsser and Friends, was founded in July 2005 in Geneva by Maximilian Büsser. M.A.D. stands for Mechanical Art Devices, and Büsser opened the first M.A.D. Gallery in Geneva in 2011.

MB&F occupies a particular space in fine watchmaking: that of a niche, highly innovative, futuristic, uniquely structured brand. Its growth since its founding nearly 14 years ago may seem like one uninterrupted success, but the horological lab has had its fair share of mishaps and mistakes along the way, learning “don’ts” alongside the “dos”, which will are discussed in this session by Owner and Creative director Maximilian Büsser.
